Wipe Updates for May, 2025

This wipe the map will be a bit bigger to accommodate all the monuments (about 3 - 4 grids bigger than our normal map size). The jungle update requires a bit more space. Just a reminder, folks: May is a long wipe (5 weeks), so we will have an entity wipe and map change on the third Thursday of the month (May 22). You will keep your PJs/quarries and blueprints (it will just be a map wipe).

New stuff:
-- New sea based raidbases! Take to the high seas to raid some ship/boat themed bases! These bases have SAMs on them, so best to approach these raidbases by boat or sub. Arrrrrrrrrrrrr! They will show up only for hard and expert/impossible difficulties. Enjoy these! Should be a lot of fun! 🙂 Careful with the mines.
-- New event at Radtown. A nuclear container is dropped off, inside of it a hacked crate. Dr Havoc sends in remote drones to try to destroy it and kill you in the process.
-- New armored train event. An armored train will surely challenge you. Lots of NPCs (that will dismount when the train has been stopped), turrets and SAMs. You will find three locked crates on this train. It will be choo choo'ing around the above ground rails. This event is a bit more difficult than the underground radioactive train (which is still active).
-- Talon is the new modded AK! This has been requested quite a bit. Unbreakable, more than double dmg (115 dmg vs 50 dmg), and a 45 round magazine. Can be purchased at the gunsmith building in Outpost.
-- New unbreakable harvesting tools, The Jacky (jackhammer), Zippy (chainsaw) and Zippy Plus (chainsaw with instant reload). They take no durability damage. You can purchase these at Bandit (at the cabin where Greenthorn is).
-- Event center! High up in the clouds, you can find the Pookie Arena (1v1 arena) and a demo derby. We will be adding additional fun games/events to do here. We will be hosting demo derby more often now that it's a structure :).
-- Duel another player at the Pookie Arena, type /pvp player_name. You can get to this area by teleporting from Arbington.
-- We have adjusted the timers on the monument claim system to be a bit longer for larger monuments or those with locked crates. Think we have it dialed in good now.

Wipe fixes/updates:

- Zippy Plus (chainsaw with insta reload) has been disabled for now. Having some issues with the insta part lol. If u purchased it, please throw in a ticket will give you the scrap difference.
- Snakes should now be killable.
- The armored train event (the new one), had its difficulty adjusted. It will be easier the first week or so of wipe, then it will become more difficult every week. The most difficult train will be accompanied by an attack helicopter.
- Easy train (first 10 days of wipe) no longer have turrets onboard.
