Wipe Updates for August, 2025
Welcome to August wipe! I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and kindness toward each other. Brings a smile to my face to see new and old friends gathering to progress through monuments/events. Thank you for making the community what it is.
Leveling system update (Prestige):
A lot of folks have been requesting a prestige system to go along with our basic levels. Starting from this wipe forward you will be able to prestige, some details and process below.
-- Perks will NOT wipe. You keep those.
-- You must be max level to start the prestige process.
-- Your level will be reset to 0. You will not receive items through the leveling process when trying to prestige.
-- You will be given a unique in-game tag after you hit max level for the second time (see below). Using the command /pcolor #hex will allow you to change your prestige tag's color.
-- To apply for Prestige, please post in our #prestige-request channel on Discord.
-- Once you prestige, you will be able to enter the Prestige Quarters to purchase all modded weapons with improved stats (Prestige Calamity, Prestige Triton, Prestige Talon, Prestige Fatebringer, etc.).
Updates/New Stuff/Changes:
-- New event. The SS Rustbucket is out patrolling the seas. Keep a look out for this passing tugboat armed with scientists. You will need some boom to breach the loot room. Filled with diesel and a locked crate.
-- Level 52: Refrigerated backpacks.
-- Level 72: Helicopter hover. Type /hover in chat to have your mini hover in place.
-- Abandon Military Base has turned into a medium difficulty darkzone. Reaper, Oblivion, and Vengeance set is a possible drop.
-- /raid now has a new, harder difficulty (expert). Your base will be hit by MLRS missiles some of the waves. 8 waves, high HP and more dmg from their c4. New TC cooldown has been reduced from 3 days to 2 days. After completion you will be given an orange ID tag that you turn in to Axel at Outpost for 5,000 XP.
-- We have a few new daily quests at Arbington. Hunter’s Instinct (kill 10 wild animals), Airspace Denied (kill 20 drones) and Help Arbington (turn in 75,000 stones). Two of these quests were supposed to be added in last wipe but I uploaded it to the wrong file. Just noticed when I went to add in a new quest. Apologies!

-- Facepunch has introduced a new policy for servers: we can no longer offer perks tied to approved DLC content on our servers. You can read more about the policy here. Arbington, our online shop (shop.relicpve.com), Skinbox has been cleared of all DLC/purchasable content. Please bare with me on Arbington. It's going through a redesign. DLC content perks have been removed as well (/dance, /bskin, /attachradio). DLC content has also been removed from Darkzone NPC, Raidbase and raidme loot tables. You must now purchase the respective DLC from Facepunch for these features/perks. If we missed anything, please contact us so we can correct it (thank you).
