Craftable Comps

Also having to gather loads of metal pipe for rockets can be annoying because those are things that most of the time you scrap early on for the scrap and by the time you have rockets unlocked you have to go farming for metal pipe specifically which can take a long time. Making metal pipe craftable using their recycled components makes it easier to craft boom and would make it a little more balanced when doing raidable bases and encourage more people to do raidable bases since crafting rockets is easier and requires less grind for comps.
All of the recipes/blueprint for comps would just be the inverse of recycling so you are just allowing players to basically reverse recycle comps if comps are needed for crafting other things. and by making the recipes reversed of their recycle players couldn't take advantage of a craft to recycle loop to make scrap if they only costed metal shards to craft. This would also save players a lot of storage space because they wouldn't have to store comps separately.

You just need to research one first (for example metal pipes is 125scrap to research), this also works for metal springs and gears, roadsigns metalblades and propably more things too. Not tarp though. It's not exactly reversed what you get out of it. But I guess thats the cost for doing it that way instead of grinding the gameway.
