I had suggested something similar previously, but this was officially added as a command last wipe : clear_bushes_radius

This command will clear client side foliage from the area (aka those pesky plants that come through your foundation). 

I'm thinking this could be implemented as either a level or supporter perk. You could introduce a max radius and add a cooldown to prevent abuse. Maybe block from being used in building blocked areas as well. 

This will be especially handy now with the jungle update since there are a fuckton of plants in that biome.
